Not only is it our show stopping location, private estate setting, award winning experiences and unique Lake District offering that makes Graythwaite Adventure so special, it's most definitely our people.

We’re on the hunt for summer ’23 staff!

4×4 INSTRUCTOR

We had a great response and have successfully recruited for this summer.  Please feel free to get in touch if you have off-road driving instructor experience, to discuss including you in our freelance team.

WATERSPORTS INSTRUCTOR

At Graythwaite Adventure we’re looking to hire an exceptional individual to work on our watersports site from June to October. Applicants should be all round awesome people with great personalities and a contagious sense of fun. Those who think a 90-minute SUP taster session should start with a 15-minute shore based monologue on the origins of the sport need not apply! Take a look at our website www.graythwaiteadventure.co.uk and familiarise yourself with our Instagram page so you can see our amazing location on Windermere and some of the fun we get up to with our fantastic guests. The successful applicant should have some or all of the below qualifications:

  • Paddle sports (SUP, kayak and canoe) – definite requirement
  • RYA Powerboat level 2 – definite requirement
  • RYA Safety boat

We’re offering a varied role including hires, lessons, event days and equipment upkeep and maintenance. In return, we’ll offer:

  • On-site accommodation in a traditional Lakeland cottage (if required)
  • Salary from £22,000 per annum pro rata
  • Being part of a passionate and fun team
  • Opportunity for training and further qualifications
  • A season in a World Heritage Site on England’s largest (and arguably most beautiful) lake

Take the first step towards a happy summer season and send us your covering letter and CV to hello@graythwaiteadventure.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you.

We like to make sure we’re not missing out on any brilliant freelancers.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for occasional work throughout the year, particularly the summer season.  You’ll need to have qualifications and experience of running sessions in some of:

  • 4×4 off-road driving
  • clay pigeon shooting
