Graythwaite Adventure provides award winning experiences on the exclusive Graythwaite Estate; 5,000 acres of carefully managed estate land, woodland, parkland and lake frontage in the heart of the Lake District National Park, on the shores of Windermere.

Guests with us can enjoy 4×4 off road driving, clay pigeon shooting, archery, axe throwing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, bushcraft and RIB tours.

With careful planning and consideration for the natural landscape, we’ve designed the Lake District’s only off-road course with BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) accreditation and BORDA qualified instructors providing expert tuition.  Not only that, guests enjoy unrivalled views from the summit.

Our shooting site provides the perfect place to learn and practice skills, with drinks served from the lodge and a roaring fire pit on colder days.

Watersports are enjoyed from the quiet bays of the estate.

Tim and Sara have been designing, organising and delivering activities, events and experiences worldwide since the 1990’s and have now firmly settled where they both grew up, in the English Lake District.
